Smaller and more practical car
Some people believe that there are less flaws in a smaller more practical car. This is the reason why Japanese cars have taken the American market by storm. Especially at the beginning when the Japs entered the American market with their small gasoline-conserving cars. Before American carmakers could understand what was going on, they had lost a huge chunk of the market.
