Before you purchase a used car...

When you purchase a used car and then find some serious flaws later, it is usually too late and you can hardly sue the used car dealer. Actually the best solution is for you to be able to tell the flaws in the car before you purchase it. A useful tip that can save you plenty of grief is to switch on the engine and carefully observe the color of the fumes coming out of the exhaust. It should be colorless almost invisible. If it is a thick smoke, it means that there are a number of problems under the hood.
