The day my Volvo brakes failed
I do not want to sound alarmist but the truth is that an auto repairman can cost you your life. I still remember the harrowing incident I went through when this auto repairman who looked at my Volvo braking system ignored a simple instruction from the manufacturer. The next thing I knew was that I was at high speed on the highway and my brakes were not working. Luckily I survived that, miraculously stopping without hitting anything. The brakes somehow worked for a brief enough period for me to stop the car.
